Two extremely important skills for any lawyer, no matter what type of lawyer – are people skills and an eye for detail. Analytical thinking skills are thus important. Many cases are won based on a technical point. Since a lawyer also needs to work with people, persuade judges and state their cases based on fact, they need to be able to communicate clearly, understand people and processes.
